Catawba County is located in Western North Carolina. This rare book lists over 1500 soldiers from the area and gives a bio of each. Tom Broadfoot reports that it is seldom found in good condition. Not the case with this excellent copy. Not only a valuable Civil War book, but an important genealogical tool.
