In 952 pages with Index. Orig. published in 1971 & long out of print, this is the very First Printing of the Second Revised & Enlarged Edition from 1989. With publisher's soft black cloth-covered boards & gilt lettering to spine, the book is actually BRAND NEW, but downgraded to VG+ in a VG+ DJ since there is a vertical slit through the cloth covering the spine & an identical slit to the DJ (taped on the underside). Else, completely clean, binding straight & strong, pages white, & unmarked save for 2 small spots to bottom outside page edges from shelf. The unclipped DJ is : bright & colorful, no fading, but with spine slit; nicely protected & near invisible in new mylar cover!
