About This Item
Signed. First Edition. Fine / very good+. Story of legendary Texas Ranger Capt. Jay Banks. There's a statue of him at the State Fair of Texas. The model for the slogan "One riot, one Ranger". Murders, manhunts, mobsters, labor strikes and integration. Written and published by his daughter Linda, who has a PhD. The book is signed by Captain Banks and by C. O. Arnett. Captain Charles Arnett was a Dallas Reserve police officer. Laid in is a xerox of his statement to the FBI regarding his involvement in the assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald. I don't know why Arnett signed this book. The book is in fine, unread condition. The dust jacket has a little edge wear including an eighth inch tear at the top front. Banks and Arnett have signed on the title page (no personilized inscription).
