Hardcover inlight tan "tweed" paper covered boards lettered in dark brown. 173 pp. A tight, internally clean and bright copy, touch of soiling to the covers. In the original vintage dust jacket with "Morrow" imprint on the spine, unpriced (title page bears the Walter J. Black imprint); baout very good, two small chips top edge of front panel and small chip and narrow wear foot of spine. A client impatiently waits for Perry in his office with a invitation to a buffet dinner and a $500 retainer. Perry's not interested but Della's in the mood for a party, so off they go. When they get there, things more than champagne corks start popping and with considerably more violence.
