New York:William Morrow and Company, (1955). First Edition. hard cover. Good/Poor. New York:William Morris & Company. (1955). vi+279pp+2pp ads. Hardcover with dust jacket.  Red boards lighlty soiled and shelfworn, with wear to all edges, spine ends and edge points. Internally, end-pages age toned but free of previous owners marks or signatures. Paper throughout is slightly age-toned. The binding is tight with hinges intact.  The dust jacket is in poor condition, in 2 pieces  with the unclipped front flap detached but present.  The remained of the jacket is heavily shelfworn, with many chips and tears to edges and folds, with a larger horizontal tear across the front panel.
