About This Item
Walter J. Black, 1958. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Book is clean with a square, tight binding and bright pages. Small scuff on top of spine. Modest date stamp inside front cover top left. Dust Jacket has quite a bit of wear on the edges, including a missing piece on the spine, and covers that is difficult to see in the scans. Take one jilted female. Add a blackmailer, a couple of ice-picks, a case of mistaken identity, and what do you get - one of Erle Stanley Gardner's most ingenious mystery novels. The book you see in the images is the actual book we have for sale. Why pay more? When you buy this book from us, you are helping to support a small brick and mortar family owned store. We have been curating our collection for three generations and currently have over 250,000 volumes in stock. Please feel free to call for more stock.
