About This Item
Guild of Master Craftsman Publications Ltd, 2004. Softbound. Like New. Color illustrated glossy wraps. 173 pp. Profusely illustrated. Having introduced the basic elements of classical style in his previous book, the author now explains how the motifs evolved through the Greek, Roman, Romanesque, Renaissance and Neoclassical periods, and how these motifs can be brought together in the making of chests, benches, cabinets and mirror frames. The author has been a master woodcarver for about 25 years. Wonderfully illustrated with lots of detail photographs.
