This copy inscribed by the author in blue ink on the title page. The inscription reads: "Best wishes Louise Buckingham / from Janet. / Sat 8, 1988". Also with another inscription (not by the author) on front free endpaper: "Louise / Happy birthday / 31.8.88 / Arohanui, Robin & Puna." 196 pages. Blue boards with gilt lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 229 x 149mm. The last novel published in the author's lifetime. Loosely included is a photocopy of the author's poem "The Landfall Desk". ; Signed by Author .
