Worcester, MA : Sandford & Davis, 1889. Fourth edition. Hardcover. Very Good. light wear to the book. Bound in brown and gilt leather, five raised bands to spine, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Fanciful history of the city of Worcester, Massachusetts told through the conceit of a young boy walking the street and commenting on or being told of the sights seen. Originally published in the Worcester Palladium in 1855 and reprinted in that paper, 1857-1858, and again in 1874.
