About This Item
University Park, Pa.: The Pennsylvania State University Press, 1987. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Volume itself has black cloth covers with red lettering on the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. On the back of the dj there is an approximate 1" tear; this is the reason for the condition downgrade. 258 pages. This is a biography by a man who knew Sandburg personally and worked with him in various historical enterprises. The book is a vivid description and more comprehensive and more factual information than previous accounts. Clean & tight. A nice copy.
