Weinfelden: Verlag Wolfau, [1988]., [1988].. Very good. - Quarto, 10-3/4 inches high by 8-3/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in pictorial black wrappers. The covers are rubbed and slightly creased at the corners. 135 & [1] pages, with illustrations throughout in black & white and color of Carl Bucher's paintings, sculptures and installations. A few page corners are creased. Very good.

Inscribed and signed in pencil by the artist opposite his portrait: "To my dear old friend [______] and his beautiful wife [___] / Carl Bucher / New York Sept 14th 1989".

The text, printed in German and English, includes an essay on Bucher by Erwin Leiser entitled "Looking Inward", and one by Walter Bachem entitled "The Signifying World of Signs of Carl Bucher".
