London : Adam & Charles Black, 1972. First edition. Red cloth hardback book in original unclipped dust jacket. Frontispiece is a map of France in 1630. Additions after 1630 are marked with the date of accession; towns underlined were seats of parlements (sic). Both book and dust jacket are in very good condition. Very small previous owner's name to top of front pastedown. Geoffrey Treasure was a popular history teacher and housemaster at Harrow School. He was the author of several books, mainly about France in the 16th and 17th centuries. 316 pages, including bibliography and index. 225 x 145 mm (8¾ x 5¾ inches). . Première édition. Livre cartonné en toile rouge dans sa jaquette d'origine non fermée. Le frontispice est une carte de la France en 1630. Les ajouts après 1630 sont marqués de la date d'adhésion ; les villes soulignées étaient les sièges des parlements (sic). Le livre et la jaquette sont en très bon état. Très petit nom de l'ancien propriétaire en haut du pastedown avant. Geoffrey Treasure était un professeur d'histoire populaire et un maître de maison à Harrow School. Il est l'auteur de plusieurs ouvrages, principalement sur la France des XVIe et XVIIe siècles. 316 pages, y compris la bibliographie et l'index. 225 x 145 mm
