Publisher's catalogue to rear. Hinges and gutters are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Rough-cut text block edges with tears and creases. Small stamps to pastedowns and endpapers. Minor red marks to fore edge of last few pages. Text is unaffected. Faint markings to pages. Text is legible. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Visible wear with heavy water marks to boards.
