Kenosha, Wis., 1942. Paperback. Near Fine/No Dust jacket. Text unmarked . Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners. Wartime-era reprint of a few Captain Marvel stories in a smaller booklet format done by the Samuel Lowe Company listed in Overstreet as "The Mighty Midget Comics" series. No date (c 1942). Booklet is 4 7/8" x 3 7/8". 36 pages (including covers). Four-color cover, two-color interior (black, red). Back cover shows a war bonds ad (otherwise blank). Story contents include: "Bumble Brained Bridegroom" "Captain Marvel and the Alaskan Adventure". Near Fine/Fine condition. Unused, unread. Very small nick, and chip near head of spine (reattached using archival adhesive). One page shows a small dog-ear. Book shows some binding, trimming and alignment quirks (one page has losts its right panel border, cover very slightly off-register, cover shows some small chipping to edges). Quantity Available: 1.
