London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1945. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher's oatmeal cloth titled in black to the spine and blind-stamped to the front board. Just a hint of foxing to the page block edges otherwise a VG+ copy in a bright and clean near fine D/W with a1 cm closed tear (with associated crease) to the top edge of the back panel. A fragile wrapper in better condition than usually seen. Great cover art. Photographs/scans available upon request.
