About This Item
Rare First Edition of Friedman's canonical defense of classical, 19 Century liberalism. Here Milton Friedman provides his first and definitive statement of his immensely influential economic philosophy, "one in which competitive capitalism serves as both a device for achieving economic freedom and a necessary condition for political freedom." This copy, in the ORIGINAL publisher's blue cloth, has some neat underlinings in ink on a few pages, brief marginalia, and PO's name on front flyleaf, else a fine copy. The rare UNclipped jacket, still bright, has very minor chipping at edges and a tiny closed tear. Book #Pv5b203. $1250. We specialize in Rare Ayn Rand, history, and science.
