About This Item
Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.: Grand Central Pub, 1991. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A multi-generational saga of two founding families. Stated first printing with correct full number line sequence. No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Pages are very clean, but the textblock edges do have some minor soiling. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and shows only minor shelf wear and a bit of what appears to be delamination. The inside of the jacket also has some browning to the edges as well as three areas of moisture staining (the largest being 2" x 2") on the upper front and back cover. This has slightly affected the boards in the same locations, but none of this can be seen unless the dust jacket is removed. This collectible, very good, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
