Bright green cloth with Chaucer by Kent as blind-stamp into front cover and bright gilt spine title. 8 1/2" T all by 6 inches Wide by 1 5/8 inches thick. 1934 date on copyright page with typography by Robert Josephy. Kent illustrates each character in a type of sepia-toned wood-cut or copper-cut plates. The jacket is used but sill looks good or better with light edge wear. it has a publisher price inside on the flap of 2.95. . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1934.
