William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854) apprenticed with architect and antiquarian John Britton before becoming known for his own drawings and watercolours. There are also early views of Toronto, the Rideau Canal, the Ottawa River, the Eastern Townships, Montreal, Quebec, Fredericton, and many others.
