Undated - circa 1921? No mention of any prior printings. The twenty-one chapters include stories of Henry Hudson, La Salle, Count Frontenac, Madeleine De Vercheres, Laura Secord, Louis Riel and others. Prior owner's name in ball pen on back of front free endpaper. Half-title page removed. Above-average wear. Writing atop plate at page 12 which is loose but present. Narrow opening in binding at page 48. A worthy vintage reading copy..
