London, UK: Weidenfeld, 1993. Hardcover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Reissue. xliv, 1172pp, lightly illustrated with half tone drawing and 80 maps, including one large fold-out map. In red cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. Large 8vo. A large and heavy volume which will incur an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards are a little worn, moderately rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Hint of toning to text block edges and pages, lower text block edge has some mild smudge-soiling. In its original dust jacket, rubbed and bumped at edges, slightly blown, bumped at spine edges and lightly chipped on corners.
