Pp. 156(last blank), 10 folding maps at end, tables; demy 8vo; bound in later navy buckram, spine lettered in gilt; later endpapers; small split at bottom edge and name in ink at head of title page, some foxing (mainly of outer leaves and edges); Rozez, Bruxelles, n.d.[1871?]. *From the library of Sydney bibliophile David Levine, with his Militaria book label on upper pastedown. Bound without the original printed paper wrappers. This copy has 10 folding maps, as called for, but map 3 (Bataille de Woerth) is missing, replaced by a second copy of map 8, and the caption has been almost completely cropped from the top edge of map 9.
