Ticknor, 1885-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 1885. Red cloth boards have mild dust soiling with some fading and spotting of color to the spine, spine ends frayed. Both hinges are started. "Capt. W.G. Raoul, October 23rd 1885 compliments of Ambrose Smith" is written on the half title page, Raoul is listed in the index on page 447 (Second Company). No marks or notations to the text. Included is a loose small leaflet from a Second Company surviving veterans reunion on April 18th 1905, listing the surviving members and featuring Capt. Raoul's handwritten updates on death dates. Also includes two same loose ephemera pieces "Washington Artillery Heroes. The Camp Desires to Perfect the Record of the Dead.", which lists members from all 5 companies and stamped with the Washington Artillery address. [xv], 467 pp.
