About This Item
Macmillan, 1984. 1st edition. Hardcover. Nice red boards with gilt spine lettering, some shelf rubbing at extremities, with very clean pages and endpapers, no foxing at all. The dustjacket is fine, not price-clipped, slightly paled at the spine as is common, very slight creasing at spine head. Altogether a very nice copy of the author's best-known novel, memorably filmed for tv in 1992.
