[moderate shelfwear, spine a little turned, age-toning to edges of text block, light foxing to fore-edge, non-authorial gift inscription on front endpaer; the jacket is heavily edgeworn, with creasing, tears at both ends of the front hinge, soiling/rubbing to rear panel, etc.] (Hutchinson's Famous 3/6 Novels) Series Romance novel, one of thirty or so books turned out by this popular author between the late 1920s and the late 1940s. Early in her writing career (between 1931 and 1934) she was also the editor and advice columnist for "The Woman's Magazine," a monthly publication that "mixed fiction with practical articles on dress making, cooking, decorating, travel, and so on" (Wikipedia). .
