Burns & Lambert - J.P Bachem, 1111. Hardcover. Good. No Edition Stated. 296 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Book has been rebound with new endpapers and pastedowns; trimmed to edges. Includes illustrated frontispiece and decorative title page. Advertisement page dated 1855, with erratum notice to reverse side. Includes a hand-written note inserted to front by a previous owner. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning and foxing throughout. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking. Pen inscriptions to front endpapers. Red speckled text block edges. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Noticeable sunning to spine and boards with some crushing to spine ends. Faint water staining with visible markings overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
