Title vignette and 12 beautiful black and white half page headpiece illustrations by Harold Jones. 3rd title about Henry and Jane, here spending hot summer holidays in a cottage by a river, their parents absent. Minute bump to top corner of upper cover, very slight faint foxing to closed page edges, tiny red mark to top edges, otherwise a Fine clean copy with no inscriptions in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER with beautiful colour illustration by Jones, (dw: not price clipped, very slight wear to head of spine, 15 mm (¾") closed tear to top of upper hinge, neatly repaired on reverse with no loss of image, another smaller closed tear to top of rear inner flap).
