About This Item
Simon and Schuster, 1953. Hardcover. Very Good. 8x5x1. Mid-century autobiography of multi-media legend Big Crosby's Call Me Lucky. Collectible first edition, first printing ("First Printing" so stated on copyright page), inscribed and signed in blue ink thus: "To the Pest - | B. Crosby." Signature not authenticated. Early Mary Anne Popin bookplate mounted to front blank recto. Includes original somewhat scarce dust jacket with $3.50 price to bottom of front flap and 32 pages of photos preceding the text - featuring, to no surprise, Bing Crosby and a virtual who's who of mid-century celebrities and other notables. Hard cover format. 344 pp. 8 3/4" x 6". Tight, unmarked copy with minimal shelf wear, sharp corners and very light wrinkling to head and tail of spine panel. Internals faintly age toned. Priced dust jacket with several very short tears and minimal chipping. A very presentable and complete copy of a Crosby collectible. Photographs of or additional information about this item are available on request. All inquiries answered promptly.
