Illustrated with vignette, frontispiece and seven plates. Collated complete. A collection of three novels: To Call Her Mine, Katherine Regina, and Self or Bearer. The first had never before been published, while the other two works had previously appeared in a Christmas annual. Written by Sir Walter Besant, an English historian and novelist. Illustrated by Sir Amendee Forestier, an Anglo-French artist and illustrator. With thirty-two page publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the original burgundy cloth binding with floral decoration. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
