Smeaton Chase, Mary Austin, Clarence King and others tell the story in illustrative prose. Landscapes, Gold Rush, the variety of natural beauty and early pioneering efforts are beautifully presented. Book and Jacket are Fine, high quail ty production in Never read condition. Ultra clean green cloth with bight gilt title to front board and spine, No previous owner bookplate or writing. Jacket is Fine with painting of the Sonoma hills and upper San Pablo Bay. The green slipcase in matching publishers cloth is near Fine. Ultra clean, As New and most presentable. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall.
