The 1946 limited edition of Leonard Kip’s 1850 memoir of his experiences as a participant in the California Gold Rush of 1849, with 8 illustration plates. Blue cloth, gilt titles and gilt front board illustration of a "sourdough." Very Good Plus, clean, crisp, bright, corners sharp, no ownership signatures, in a VG- dust jacket that has a 4" seam split along the lower portion of the spine shoulder and a small chip at top of the spine panel, titles and graphics unaffected.
