London: Printed for W. Owen... and sold at the Pamphlet Shops at the Royal Exchange,.., 1748.. Third edition. 8vo. (vi), 9-58 pp. Later printed marbled wrappers. Very good. Cf. Moore, 129, with slightly different pagination, though this copy matches those listed on ESTC. First published in 1706 in Edinburgh in folio, with a second edition in 8vo appearing a year later. This subsequent edition omits Defoe's name and bears a new title page, dedication (to the Duke of Argyll) and preface.
