London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1893. Cloth. Very Good. 7" by 5". Not Stated. A third edition of this sweet-toothed cookery work written by Mrs. de Salis. Including such recipes as Albert cake, Christmas cake, nun's cakes, sand cake, yolk cake, macaroons, ginger biscuits, coffee ice cream, mushroom of meringue and wafer paper.Written by Harriet Anne de Salis, a chef and writer of cookery books. Her other works include 'Entrees a la Mode', 'Soups and Dressed Fish a la Mode', 'Savouries a la Mode' and 'Oysters a la Mode'.A third edition of this work. In a quarter cloth binding. Externally a little worn, with some edgewear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine; boards are a little worn. Internally, generally firmly bound; front hinge is exposed but firm.. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd mark. Very Good
