New York, New York, USA: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1968. BZ4 - A hard cover first American edition withdrawn ex-library book in good+ condition. A tight, clean, sound copy in black cloth covered boards with silver and metallic green lettering on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear plus some fading on the endpapers plus there are the usual library stamps, marks, and pocket on the copyright page and back endpaper plus there is some tape staining on the inside surfaces of the front and back boards and front and back endpapers plus the dust jacket endflaps are glued down to the inside surfaces of the boards. The dust jacket shows minor overall wear mainly in the form of some very, very light edge wear plus there is the usual library label on the spine plus it is still in the original library mylar sleeve plus the endflaps are glued down to the inside surfaces of the boards. A book about the history of Cairo and its development from the time of the ancient pharaohs to the Nasser government. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. Endnotes, bibliography, indexed, 223p.. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 6.75"x9.5". Ex-Library.
