About This Item

(from Merle Johnson's description of a First Edition and of this book)Tan figured cloth(minor soiling), red buckram back(dirty but readable) top edges stained blue(faded still there), also some in blue cloth(we have the tan, the designs are in red & black). The corners have bronze-colored metal protectors. Errors are all present, (p.186 line 16) doctors. (p.196 line 13) conversation (p.202 line 12) explaininn ( nn not ng). Both top and bottom of the spine weaken but no rips/fraying, gift inscription not by the author on the 1st leaf. The book is tight and square, really nice to be 95 years old. It just has the stupidest cover designs.

About Pulitzer Prize Books.com

I am a private collector, mainly Pulitzer Prize winners, but I inherited 1000's of hardcovers and looking to sell them off. I will be relocating in the near future, and need to lighten the load.
