Ilustrado con 55 medios tonos b-n y 8 láminas en color & ct. No dude en solicitar detalles y / o fotografías adicionales. C. Bernaldo de Quirós fue uno de los artistas más aclamados de Argentina. A los 13 años ingresó en el taller del valenciano Nicolau Cotanda y tres años después ingresó en la Academia de la Sociedad de Estímulo de Bellas Artes bajo la dirección de los maestros Angel Della Valle y Reynaldo Giúdice. Tras recibir el Premio Roma y con tan solo veinte años, el gobierno argentino financió una beca para estudiar en Italia. Allí se perfecciona e incluso recibe una mención en la Bienal de Venecia de 1901 con la obra de gran formato Back from Fishing. En 1905 viajó a España y se puso en contacto con Zuloaga y Sorolla, luego siguió a París, Florencia y Cerdeña.
A partir de entonces fue el camino de ladrillos amarillos hasta el final.

At the age of 13 he entered the workshop of the Valencian Nicolau Cotanda and three years later he entered the Academy of the Stimulus Society of Fine Arts under the direction of teachers Angel Della Valle and Reynaldo Giúdice. After receiving the Rome Prize and with only twenty years old, the Argentine government financed a scholarship affording stuy in Italy. There it is perfected and even receives a mention at the Venice Biennale in 1901 with the large-scale work Back from Fishing. In 1905 he traveled to Spain and contacted Zuloaga and Sorolla, then followed Paris, Florence and Sardinia. From then on it was the Yellow Brick Road all the way.
