William Rider and Son, Limited, London, 1911. Hardcover. Good. 1911. 246 pages. Navy cloth with gilt titles and decoration, a little age-soiled, edgeworn. Spine square. Binding sound. Lacks dust jacket. Contemporary owner's name neatly inked to FFEP. Heavy foxing to front matter, lightly toned throughout. Interior else clean and unmarked. O'Donnell was primarily known for his books about ghosts, and claimed to have had multiple encounters with them. He wrote both fiction/occult fantasy inspired by them, his work appearing in such publications as "Weird Tales," as well metaphysical works like the present volume.
