About This Item
First edition, three volume set. Includes the plates and maps all in pristine condition. Hardcover w/o jackets as issued. Very light rubbing and edge wear on boards; red cloth boards very nice with just a little wear at the spine tips and minor bumps to the lower corners of the first two volumes. Titles in gilt on the spine are bright. Top of pages on Vols I and II are gilt. Interiors clean and bright, no foxing, no notes. Mylar jacket on vol III. The hinges and spines are as published, tight and clearly seldom opened. Stamp of former owner, W. F. Kitchens, Major, A. C. inside front board and f.p. of Vol III. A fine set of one of the most desirable publications of the Arthur H. Clark imprint. Volume III of the American Trails series. An extraordinary value for the complete and scarce three volume set.
