Signed by the author to the title page, dated 18th February 1992. The sixth V. I. Warshawski novel. When Warshawski's aunt comes back into her life needing a place to stay after her hotel burned down, she has no choice but to investigate the arson. Her aunt disappears, and her aunt's friend is found dead at a construction site. Written by Sara Paretsky, an American author of detective fiction know for the creation of her character V. I. Warshawski. In the original quarter yellow cloth binding with red paper covered boards. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also excellent. Internally, firmly bound.
