About This Item

From the Something About History section: "The history that is in this book is mostly from the stories of different people, many of whom were on the spot when the Pacific railroad was built."

The book is about the building of the railroad, the people involved, and what the railroad brought.

Good+ condition. Book has been thoroughly cleaned, but there were stains on the cover that did not come off. Inside there are a few pages in both the front and back with tiny purple/brown spots. Green cover with black and faded gold gilt image and lettering. No odd smells. Beautiful, colorful end papers. Text is clean and binding is tight. Black & green illustrations throughout the book.

180 pages.
