About This Item
London: Chatto & Windus, 1992-1994. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Fine. 9.5" by 6.5". Not Stated. Two bright first editions from Liza Cody's well-known Eva Wylie series, featuring a professional wrestler as the protagonist. First edition, first impression copies of two novels in the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Bucket Nut has the BBC Radio Woman's Hour label to the front of the wrap. Liza Cody is an English crime writer, best known for her Anna Lee series, which introduced the first professional female private detective to mystery fiction. These volumes are the first two books of her Eva Wylie series, which features a professional female wrestler as the unorthodox heroine. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, cloth is very smart to both volumes, except for a small bump to the lower extremity of either board of Bucket Nut. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Dust wrappers are in lovely bright condition. Fine
