Novato: Lyford Books, 1992. First Edition. First printing Fine in dark blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt text stamping on the spine with a gift inscription on the first free end paper. In a very good+, unclipped, dust jacket with minor nicks to the color at the ends of the spine area and at the corners of the panels but with no chipping or tears. This award winning author published a sequel to this book entitled The Scout. This is the true first edition of this title. It was republished in 1994 by the Delacorte Press.
