Dust Jacket Included. 12mo, 18.5cm, first Canadian edition, 270p., original green cloth, black stamped titles on the spine and upper cover, some slight fade speckling on the bottom margin of the rear cover, the fragile jacket is split along the bottom hinge edge and is edge chipped, a fine bright copy in good to very good jacket of the scarce first Canadian edition. (s1) On U.S. sheets, copyrighted by Charles Scribner's Sons, 1932, with the signature Scribner's A on the verso of the title page. Callaghan had signed a contract with Scribners in 1929. The jacket is attractively designed by Ermakoff.
