Illustrated with black and white and coloured plates from photos and paintings (including frontispiece and folding map) and drawings in text. Original black half leather with blue cloth covers and gilt lettering and decoration on spine. All edges gilt. Decorative blue endpapers. Covers slightly rubbed. very good William Perkins Bull practised law and became Timothy Eaton's personal solicitor and, by 1908, became the youngest King's Counsel in the British Empire.The Perkins Bull Historical Series began in 1931. This series now comprises dozen of volumes. 1935
