Synopsis

Graham Ritchie was educated at Arbroath High School, Angus, and graduated in Prehistoric Archaeology at Edinburgh University, undertaking research in Celtic weapons. Since 1965 he has been on the staff of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland, where he is now Head of Archaeology.
