About This Item

London: A & C Black, 1933. Tape and other marks to end papers, none to covers. Not a library book. On the front end paper has been added an attractive realistic painting of LMS Princess class No 46022. The book is worth buying for this painting alone. Clean very tight pages with dusty page edges, bright unmarked boards, slight fading to spine and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket clipped with a little marking including tape marks on dust flaps and with rubbing to corners. 95pp. Forty-two full page photographs of some of the latest steam locomotives in Britain plus other older models. Tucked in are two newspaper cutting of railways around Keighley plus the author's brief typed details of a train journey - timings and locomotives involved.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8.75 x 5.75 inches.

About Godley Books

We have been selling mainly non-fiction books for over 20 years and now have a very varied stock of around 10,000 books. As not all are yet online, please ask us for your search items as we may have the book you are seeking waiting to be catalogued. Our delivery company Royal Mail has twice increased overseas prices during 2020, in particular to the USA, so our shipping rates have been amended to reflect this.
