london: Henry Greenwood & Co. Ltd, 1966. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. First edition and printing. In good plus pale grey cloth boards, gilt titles to front and back strip. The covers are clean, fairly tight and straight; spine ends bumped with small tear on top edge. Unmarked navy blue end papers. Quite clean cut edges. The text bock is quite tightly bound, with numerous b/w and a few colour photos. The 'Technical Section is worn and a little marked. Adverts at front and back of block. Slight warp to pages. Not annotated. Good plus condition. In good pictorial dust jacket with orange top with white titles and b/w image of fair haired girl. The jacket has rather worn edges, particularly to spine ends. Not price clipped. Heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage if shipping outside the UK.

About Clevedon Community Bookshop

Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our bookshop in Copse Road is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00am to 4.00pm. The co-operative comprises just over 600 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town.
