Binding is cracked and text block is loosened from spine. Boards, both front and back, are moderately soiled, with wear along edges. This second edition updates the then-recent achievements and devotion to duty of the British soldier. Large bookplate on front endpage from library of John David Morbey reads De rebus militaribus (About military matters).
