Hardcover edition with no jacket and with dark blue board covers, gilt lettering on spine. The spine has one bad tear at top and two smaller cracks. Otherwise the book is in good condition. Pages may have been rough cut. Previous owner name in black ink at front (dated 1917) and a former shop price in pencil. Contents including maps appear to be intact. This is the second edition published by Hodder and Stoughton 1916.
