London: The Studio Limited, 1923. Hardcover. Very Good. 4to. 175pp. Black cloth, front board stamped in blind, with gilt lettering. Top edge gilt, board edges bevelled. Light wear to the cloth at the corners and spine ends, small square bookplate to front paste-down endpaper, half-title darkened, illustrated throughout mainly in black and white, only a few illustrations in colour. A panorama with emphasis on the modern. Bewick, Blake, Smirke, and Cruikshank are the first illustrators represented; with Brock, Austen and Harry Clarke concluding the review. Good clean copy in a tight binding.
